Ti(N.) Intellect / Fe(N.) Sentiment — LII and EIE
In Model A, Semi-duality has a precise structural definition: each type's leading function provides the correct element for the other's Suggestive position — what each type most deeply seeks — but in the wrong sub-variant. The domain is right. The register is slightly off. You receive something genuinely related to what you most want from someone whose natural output is almost but not quite the form you most deeply need.
This distinguishes Semi-duality from every other relation type covered so far. Dual provides the right element in the right sub-variant as the partner's primary output. Activity provides the right element in the right sub-variant as the partner's secondary output. Semi-duality provides the right element in the wrong sub-variant as the partner's primary output. The domain arrives with full strength and genuine intention. The register arrives slightly displaced.
Model L makes the specific displacement visible.
LII leads with Ti(N.) Intellect. The EIE's Suggestive is Ti(S.) — embodied structural logic, procedure enacted through the body with physical authority. LII provides Ti(N.) instead: abstract, communicable, detached structural logic. The element is right — the EIE genuinely values and seeks Ti — but the EIE most deeply wants structure made physical and procedurally concrete, and what arrives is structure articulated and abstractly held. Genuinely valuable. Not quite the weight and physical groundedness most deeply sought.
EIE leads with Fe(N.) Sentiment — inner passion shaped into dramatic rhetorical address. The LII's Suggestive is Fe(S.) — somatic atmospheric emotion, collective mood broadcast through physical presence. EIE provides Fe(N.) instead: inner conviction expressed rhetorically, aimed at inciting feeling through symbolic gesture and charged language. The element is right — the LII genuinely values and seeks Fe — but the LII most deeply wants the ambient somatic warmth that suffuses shared space, and what arrives is directed rhetorical passion. Genuine and energising. Slightly more aimed and less enveloping than most deeply wanted.
The relationship feels close and real. The LII finds the EIE's passionate conviction genuinely orienting; the EIE finds the LII's abstract precision genuinely clarifying. The warmth is not performed. The draw is not mistaken. But beneath the genuine engagement, each carries a subtle persistent sense of reaching — the domain present, the specific register just out of reach.
