• The cube sorts a type's eight functions by three presence traits — strength, value and boldness — from Level 1 (weakest presence) up to Level 4, the Leading function.
• Shape shows the pair of aspects; a solid shape is the energising aspect, an open shape the integrating one.
• Only the eight correct shapes are ever in the tray. A wrong drop costs seconds, not points.
• Keyboard: Tab to a shape, press Enter or Space to pick it up, Tab to a position, press Enter or Space to place it.

How Presence is built

The cube isn't an arrangement to memorise — it is built from two four-point scales crossing each other. The number in each circle below is that position's Presence level.

• Dimensionality (D) — how capable a function is, from 4D down to 1D. It combines two of the three traits: strength and boldness. Functions with the same dimensionality sit on the same stripe running down to the right.
• Priority (P) — how readily the psyche reaches for a function, from 4P down to 1P. It combines the other pairing: value and boldness. Equal priority sits on the same stripe running down to the left.
• Presence (L) is simply the average of the two: L = (D + P) ÷ 2.
• Boldness is counted in both D and P, so averaging them brings all three traits back together. That is why the Leading function (4D, 4P) sits alone at the top on L4, the Vulnerable function (1D, 1P) sits alone at the bottom on L1, and everything else lands in between — Suggestive, for instance, is only 1D but a high 3P, giving it L2.
• The four vertical edges join the pairs that differ in boldness alone. Those are the four blocks of Model A.
